CBE would like to welcome Simon Burnett, who has joined the company in a sales consultation role within the UK.

Simon is a motivated professional sales and people manager, working in a senior position within the EPoS and payments industry for the past 5 years. Simon started his career in the fuel, supermarket and convenience sectors many years ago. Having worked on the retail side of businesses he also worked in the development of their EPoS systems. His later career saw him run a chain of independent convenience stores and then work for the UK arm of a major wholesaler, where he managed the southern team that was responsible for turning failing franchisees into profitable ventures. Simon has extensive experience and knowledge of the retail and wholesale food/fuel sectors ranging from dealing with large-scale multiples to independent retailers. The ability to understand the retailer’s business and his passion for retail helps Simon build and maintain strong long-term relationships with both current and past customers.  

In his spare time, Simon enjoys DIY, renovating houses and cars. Simon is married and has 2 children and 2 stepchildren He and his son are avid F1 fans but have yet to experience a race weekend live.
